Orange accents appear on the midsole stitching and on the Nike branding on the heels. Like the “Chicago” colorway, this Dunk features special NBA 75th Anniversary branding on the tongues and a diamond-etched lace dubrae. This Nike Daybreak Type Thunder Blue starts with a navy airy mesh base, with suede eye stays in a matching shade. Light beige–almost grey–suede overlays are found on the heel, toe, and, forefoot. The overlay on the heel partially covers the Side swoosh outline that has been messily stitched. For the leather heel tab, a dark orange-brown is used instead, reminiscent of oxford shoes or other classic leather goods. Pops of coral are applied subtly, only applied to the inside and as contrast stitch detailing on an overlay around the toe. To round out the design, the exposed foam that constructs the tongue is surprisingly tinted in navy to match the uppers, rather than in the standard yellow color.
