Today, our world is filled with the betrayal of trust, inconsistency, impatience, lack of forbearance and a rush to cast out the other. In the second but concluding part of our interview with Adam and Eve, Adam shares his experiences and the lessons that kept him going. Welcome to ADAM EVE PART 2. Adam: I was struck with awe when I opened my eyes for the first time to see how beautiful the earth was, the green was green, the red was red and all the colours were just right. Nothing was wrong, nothing was ugly it was share beauty and truly the masterpiece of a genius creator. I can't forget matching the grass as the feeling, yes, ticking feeling under my feet. I was struck dumb when the creator asked me to name all the animals. At once, their names came to me like the wind, I began to call them names and as I did, I felt so in tune with the creator, like he spoke through my lips. But while I was in my euphoria he saw an emptiness in my soul, a longing for a companion someone to share my laughs with. The last thing I remembered was I slept off; when I opened my eyes the second time, there she was, standing before me, elegant and beautiful, I touched her, her heart beat as mine there was perfect harmony between us. "Hi, my name is ADAM the REDMAN," I told her, "and you are the very expression of perfection", "the flesh of my flesh and the bone of my bones." "Can I call you woman?" She agreed and that became her name. No Sir! I don't think she meant for all this to happen, she loved me without reservation I was her MAN. I know I messed up when I played the blame game when the Creator asked why we hid, but when I looked at her eyes and saw the purity of her intentions, and knew that all she wants was a better man and she will risk her life and our freedom to have it, I became a man, the MAN she wanted. Believe me, I knew at some point I was going to get into trouble, but I didn't know when or how. Gosh! She was inquisitive; she wanted to know everything there is to know about everything. I felt life differently since she came into my life. Ok, I know you're in a hurry to know about the fall. Adam fell because he knew better than to listen to a woman who had just been deceived by a snake (can you imaging, I gave it that name ?). It felt wrong but allowed myself to be drowned by her love - don't get me wrong I did it because there is no garden without HER. I did not want a replacement. It was my WOMAN or no other. So I chose to stand by her even when the going got "banana curves with spikes." It was my choice even when I played the denial game when the creator asked. I sewed the figs, I covered us, I made us run, I made us hide, it wasn't her it was all my idea. The only thing I will say is we moved on. We didn't just settle for fig leaves, we moved on even when we were driven out to cultivate the cursed earth, and forsaken for a while, we moved on. I looked at my woman in the eye and her true name came to me, I called her EVE, the mother of all living. Are you ready to move on or just stop in your sin-state-of-mind?
